Mário Vieira

He set up a Pediatric Gastroenterology Unit at Hospital Pequeno Príncipe (a 380-bed paediatric teaching hospital), Curitiba- Brazil in 1994 where he is presently the Head of the Department and Coordinator of the Residence Program in Pediatric Gastroenterology. He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), Brazil. His main interests include Food Allergy, Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders, Coeliac Disease, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Peptic Ulcer Disease and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He runs a busy practice-based referral unit involving different aspects of pediatric gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
