Ehab Khairy El-Khashab

Professor of Pediatrics and Head of Pediatric Clinical Nutrition Unit, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.

He was educated at Ain Shams University, receiving his MBBCh as well as Master and Medical Degree with specialty in Pediatrics. He is responsible for preparing and teaching the course of Pediatric Nutrition for undergraduates as well as for Master and MD degrees in Pediatrics. He has published 45 articles in the fields of Pediatric Nutrition and infections in national and international medical journals and has been the supervisor of 122 master, MD and PHD theses in Pediatrics and was the examiner of 95 master, MD and PHD theses in Pediatrics within and outside Ain Shams University. He was the president of the First, Second and Third Scientific Congresses for Pediatric Pulmonology and Nutritional Disorders. He is the vice president of the Arabian Society of Pediatric Clinical Nutrition. He conducted several studies with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, serving as investigator for a study about Assessment of fading IgE titer for measles, mumps & rubella among Egyptian infants from 4 up to 12 months of age and a study on Haemophilus influenzae type B infection in infants and children with pneumonia.
