Ali Ibrahim Al-Mehaidib

Ali Ibrahim Al-Mehaidib is a consultant within the Section of Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Department of Paediatrics, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC), Saudi Arabia.

•He is chair of the Scientific Committee, and a board member, of the Saudi Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. He is a member of both the Paediatric Nutrition Committee and the Paediatric Education Committee at KFSH&RC.

•Dr Al-Mehaidib is a regular speaker at conferences and delivers lectures on issues related to nutrition and diseases in children. He has more than twenty publications to his name, many of which are related to health issues in paediatrics.

•Dr Al-Mehaidib obtained his MBBS from King Saud University and was later a chief resident in the Department of Paediatrics at KFSH&RC. He completed a fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition at Montreal Children’s Hospital, McGill University, Canada. He is certified by the Arab Board in General Paediatrics.
